IIREP | Branding

A collaborative project designing the brand visuals and guidelines for UConn’s Master of Arts in Intersectional Indigeneity, Race, Ethnicity, and Politics (IIREP) program. My role included selecting typography, creating a color palette, and designing the logo. Inspired by Akan culture and textiles, the logo reflects woven patterns and the idea of intersectionality, while the color palette draws from Kente cloth and Akan jewelry. To further honor the program’s focus on intersectionality, I chose typefaces created by designers of color.

Five vertical color bars in yellow, green, white, purple, and black from left to right.
Design with large black letter 'R' intertwined with blue letter 'P' and two yellow squares on top, above words 'Intersectional Indigeneity, Race, Ethnicity, and Politics'.
A graphic design layout featuring a large bold title 'Display,' a header 'Header,' a subheading 'SUBHEADLINE,' and multiple lines of placeholder text. On the right side, there are names and descriptions of different fonts used, including Adriane Text, Jubilat, and Corundum Text Book, each with details about the typeface and designers.
