Hi, I’m Jalah, founder of Shanai Studios, a visual media business based in Connecticut.

At the heart of my work is the belief that creativity isn’t meant to be boxed in. Bringing photo, video, and design together to create powerful, story-driven visuals that resonate.

I picked up a camera at 17 and began documenting my journey as a collegiate athlete on YouTube. That lens eventually turned outward, capturing moments for the UConn Track & Field team as part of their creative content team. From there, I sharpened my eye for storytelling through visual media and continued to build on that foundation.

Through Shanai Studios, I combine design, photography, and video to capture the moments that matter. My focus is on creating visuals that reflect real energy and tell meaningful stories. Whether you’re an athlete, a small business, or building a personal brand, I’m here to tell stories, preserve memories, and capture the moments that matter most.
